Ronda Rousey Shows Behind In Photo With Charlotte

WWE star Ronda Rousey has a major influence of Judo in her fighting style. She is a bronze medalist in Judo as she had become the first American to win an Olympic medal in women’s judo in 2008 Beijing Olympics since its inception as an Olympic sport in 1992. ‘The Baddest Woman  On The Planet’ had won this year’s Women’s Royal Rumble Match and secured a title shot at WrestleMania. She recently failed to win the WWE SmackDown Women’s title against Charlotte Flair.

Ronda Rousey reveals she was made fun of

Rousey took to her Instagram account and posted a snap from her match against ‘The Queen.’ She was seen performing ‘ippon seoi nage from the 2nd rope’ on Charlotte Flair. She revealed that she was made fun of in early career for performing Judo.

Here is what she wrote in the caption, along with a photo of her backside with Charlotte:

“Before I was a wrestler or a fighter I was and will always be a martial artist first.
My sister @burnsortiz took this picture and I love it – it’s been fun bringing more judo into @wwe like I was able to in @ufc
This pic is of an ippon seoi nage from the 2nd rope. There were also two sode tsurikomi goshis, three tiao toshis, one harai goshi, a left and right handed sumi gaeshi, tomoe nage, a reverse karaguruma, a reverse sankaku through the top rope, and of course my old favorite the juji gatame in that match.
I used to be frustrated when I was a kid how little recognition judo got and how I was made fun of for doing it.
Because I love my art. I love judo. Hopefully what I’ve been able to show will help others to love it too.”
