Former UFC Star and RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey has not been on WWE television since WrestleMania 35, where she lost her title to Becky Lynch in a triple threat match in the main event of the pay-per-view, which also featured Charlotte Flair. Ronda Rousey’s return date was also previously confirmed.
Ronda Rousey’s original WWE contract has already expired. As reported by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Ronda Rousey’s WWE contract was set to expire back in April. It is likely the company extended it somehow as the belief is that she will be returning to the company someday.
According to Billi Bhatti on Keepin’ it 100, Ronda Rousey is expected to face Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 38. Whether that happens or not is a different question entirely.
AEW President Tony Khan took to Twitter and stated that he cannot wait to see AEW Rampage beat Friday Night Smackdown in ratings next week.
I saw you’re doing a half hour head-to-head with us. I can’t wait to finally beat your main show head-to-head. It’s been a long time coming. See you next Friday for #AEWRampage on @AEWonTNT!
Tony Khan said some very bold words and many fans are wondering if he will have to eat his words next week or not.
