UFC star Colby Covington has yet again sparked controversy and this time around directing harsh words towards celebrity Rosie O’Donnell.

In an appearance on “The Tucker Carlson Encounter,” Covington expressed his disdain for O’Donnell, labeling her a “crazy mean old vile old lady” and suggesting that she should be sent to the “loony bin” in 2024.

The exchange between Covington and Tucker Carlson highlighted the ongoing feud between the fighter and the outspoken celebrity.

It has been noted that the verbal sparring between Colby Covington and Rosie O’Donnell is not new, with both personalities exchanging barbs over the past few years. The recent comments stem from a video in which O’Donnell criticized Covington before his UFC 296 fight.

During the interview with Tucker Carlson, Covington made it clear that he would never engage in physical combat with a woman, addressing Carlson’s query about whether he had ever fought O’Donnell.

“Why do you think Rosie O’Donnell is so mad at you?” Carlson asked, to which Covington responded that he had no idea but suggested that O’Donnell’s agitation might be a sign that “we’re getting closer to taking back America.”

Describing O’Donnell as a “crazy mean old vile old lady,” Covington did not hold back in expressing his negative opinions about the celebrity.

He further stated that he had no knowledge of what he did to offend her but added, “I’d gladly do it again.” Covington went on to advocate for sending O’Donnell to the “loony bin” in 2024, a comment likely to intensify the ongoing feud between the two public figures.

The contentious relationship between Covington and O’Donnell dates back to early 2020 when Covington referred to O’Donnell as a “fat pig” in response to a comment she made after the MMA star’s loss in a fight. The exchange demonstrates a history of public spats between the two, fueled by personal attacks and inflammatory language.
