Brock Lesnar announced on Raw this week that he will be entering Royal Rumble 2020 and then reports came out that the WWE is planning to set up his WrestleMania 36 match at the show.

Since Edge has been subject to rumors of a return ever since his SummerSlam appearance, a lot of people wondered if we can see the Rated R Superstar coming out and setting up a match with the Beast for the Show of Shows.

However, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Radio killed these rumors recently and he confirmed that there are no plans for Edge to face off with the WWE Champion at the upcoming event.

While Meltzer did not reveal the plans for Lesnar any further, recent reports have suggested that WWE has considered Tyson Fury and Cain Velasquez to be his opponent for the show.

So it wouldn’t be a surprise if either of these two stars end up making a surprise appearance and join the upcoming Battle Royal to set up a WrestleMania feud with Lesnar.
