We noted before how Kevin Owens quit the company on Raw this week and diving in on this storyline, WWE moved his profile into the alumni section of their website.
Since recently it was reported that the company was looking to pair Paul Heyman with a new client, rumors began that Owens could be paired with the former ECW Owner.
However, Wrestling Journalist Dave Meltzer killed these speculations of the Heyman-Owens pairing in the latest edition of his Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
He wrote that the story about Heyman possibly managing the former Universal Champion upon his return to the WWE Programming has ‘no validity to it’.
No word yet on if this news is not true then what the company is planning for Kevin Owens or Paul Heyman but we’ll keep you updated if any new details come to light.
