– We noted a while back that top indie star Uhaa Nation was on WWE’s radar and that he later impressed officials at a WWE Performance Center tryout. Other rumors said Nation was close to signing with WWE.
There were lots of rumors coming out of this weekend’s Preston City Wrestling event in the UK that said Nation has signed with WWE and will be heading to the Performance Center in Orlando soon. At that PCW event, Nation defeated former WWE Superstar Chris Masters to win the PCW title. For what it’s worth, talents headed to WWE usually drop their indie titles.
