Rumoured SummerSlam match not actually in plans?

Anybody who watched this week’s episode of Raw can tell that WWE is moving forward towards a Jason Jordan- Miz feud and the two are likely to meet in a match at SummerSlam, though apparently, that’s not the case.

Dave Meltzer has indicated that at this point this match is not actually included in the planned card for the show and the company may hold it off for a later date.

The reason behind it is believed to be the fact that the company doesn’t want to rush into this match and since SummerSlam already has a packed card, they don’t feel the need to do this so early.

Though there is enough time between now and SummerSlam. So plans could always change and Jason Jordan could very well end up facing the Intercontinental Champion at the Biggest Event Of The Summer.

Following Kurt Angle’s reveal, it was noted that Jordan may receive a mid card push and if WWE plans to do so, a SummerSlam match between the two stars would be perfect opportunity to put the former SmackDown Star over.

Jason could look good while fighting in a 3 on 1 condition against Miz and the Miztourage, and lose the match due to distraction to keep the gates open for this rivalry to be developed further.
