In a very surprising outcome during the main event of this week’s episode of SmackDown Live, Rusev beat Daniel Bryan clean to earn a spot at the upcoming Money In the Bank match.
At Raw last night, it was revealed that there will be two Money In The Bank matches at the upcoming show of the same name this year, and later 3 qualifying matches were announced for SmackDown Live.
The Miz defeated the United States Champion Jeff Hardy in The first qualifying match and earned the right to be part of the ladder match at the upcoming PPV.
The second bout saw the former SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair defeating Peyton Royce and earning a spot at the Women’s MITB.
The final qualifier saw Rusev defeating Daniel Bryan clean and earning his spot in the match, just a week after reuniting with his wife Lana.
After tonight, Braun Strowman, Finn Balor, The Miz, Rusev, Ember Moon and Charlotte Flair are the confirmed names for their respective Money In The Bank matches.
