Miro (Rusev) defends wife Lana from abusive Twitter fan, comments on Slammiversary rumors

Miro, better known as former WWE superstar Rusev, has recently taken to Twitter to defend wife Lana following abusive insults against her. The original Tweet which drew his ire said: ‘Ur just an annoying c*** we shud call u th***.’

The comment, made by a fan with a display picture of himself and his child, was rightfully questioned by Rusev who responded with the following:

This is a father and his lovely little child. What example this child will have in his future. Also hope you never have a daughter so other FATHERS CALL HER that name

Rusev was recently released by WWE following budget cuts due to COVID-19, and prior to that he and WWE were struggling to agree terms on a new contract.

In terms of what the future holds for the Bulgarian Brute, there is speculation he could be appearing at Impact Wrestling’s Slammiversary PPV and he has commented on those rumors:

I understand why you think it’s me, but I can’t confirm or deny. Or I don’t wanna confirm or deny. Maybe they wanna pay me a million dollars for one match. Who knows? Maybe I’ll come in.

His wife Lana is of course still working for WWE and currently involved in a storyline with Natalya.
