Dave Meltzer mentioned on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio that Rusev injured his knee at the live event in Bossier City, Louisiana on Saturday night.
The injury is not serious and he is expected to be back in action before the Royal Rumble PPV.
Meanwhile, Rusev teased going after Kalisto’s United States title on Twitter. He posted the following:
