The casket match between Rusev and the Undertaker at the Greatest Royal Rumble is mostly remembered for the controversy that surrounded it and led to Chris Jericho’s removal from the bout.
However these two still put on a great match and according to the Bulgarian Brute himself, he received some praise from the Dead Man after their match on the show.
Rusev was recently interviewed by Express UK where he talked about his bout with the former World Champion and revealed that the Undertaker told him that he is really good after the match:
“He’s a legend, he’s an icon so getting to work with him and talk to him afterwards and pick his brains it was a great opportunity for me. He told me that I’m really good. I’m not even messing around, he told me I’m really good,”
Apart from this Rusev also talked about the current backstage environment of WWE and claimed that 99% of the people backstage are frustrated with their position.
