Earlier this week, there were rumors that the former United States Champion Rusev and his wife Lana have asked for their WWE release due to being unhappy with the way his character has been treated since returning from injury.
These rumors, however, were shot down by Lana who said people should not believe them when a fan asked her if she has asked for her WWE release:

Although since it’s WWE and rumors cannot be stopped so easily, a new tweet from the husband of Lana and The Bulgarian Brute, Rusev has fuelled these speculations again.
Rusev made a tweet yesterday in which he thanked the WWE Front office. The tweet as seen below has once again kindled the rumors of the former Champion possibly leaving WWE:

Though so far nothing is confirmed and WWE has also been quiet. So we should wait and see if this turns out to be something meaningful or it ends up being just a troll.
