RVD Defends the TNA Title, More on The Pope’s Injury

– As we reported earlier, D’Angelo Dinero was forced to withdraw from weekend bookings due to an injury to his shoulder. Dinero’s injury was originally thought to be a separated shoulder. It now appears he also suffered torn ligament damages as well. Officials are hopeful that he will return to action by next month’s TNA Sacrifice PPV, but that is still far-fetched pending his recovery time.

 


 

– TNA Wrestling held a live house show event last night in Macon, Georgia. That event featured Rob Van Dam’s first title defense since winning the belt this past Monday on iMPACT. RVD pinned AJ Styles to retain his championship.
