RVD Drops AEW Bombshell After SmackDown

Rob Van Dam, has made a name for himself as one of the best in-ring performers in the history of professional wrestling. Throughout his career, he has competed in various promotions, including ECW, WWE, Impact Wrestling, and Pro Wrestling Noah. As a result, RVD has amassed a large following of fans who would love to see him in AEW.

 


 

RVD first gained fame during his successful stint in ECW before signing with WWE in 2001. During his six years with WWE, RVD won numerous championships, including the WWE and ECW Championships. He briefly returned to WWE in 2013 before departing again in 2014.

Despite being a WWE Hall of Famer, RVD is still an active in-ring competitor. Although he doesn’t compete as frequently as he used to, his pedigree and fame have attracted the interest of several wrestling promotions.

Recently, a fan tweeted to AEW President Tony Khan, urging him to sign RVD so that he can have a solid run with the company. Interestingly, RVD liked the tweet, indicating his own interest in working with Tony Khan.

In response to a question about having one final run in professional wrestling, RVD had an intriguing answer. It remains to be seen whether Tony Khan will sign the WWE Hall of Famer, but the ball is now in his court, and fans are eagerly awaiting any updates regarding RVD’s future in professional wrestling.
