RVD on if he had talks with AEW

AEW has a deep roster full of talented wrestlers and they have several popular names in professional wrestling. However, they have not signed RVD to a contract as of yet.

Rob Van Dam spoke to Thibaud Choplin, where he revealed that he has not had talks with Chris Jericho or anyone else from AEW regarding a contract. In the end, RVD cares about the money as professional wrestling is a business.

“I’m not in talks with Chris Jericho or anyone in AEW. I’m all about the money. You know, people don’t understand. Some fans are ignorant. They don’t understand it’s a business. Some people think that when I had the WWE belt and the ECW belt, I was in my prime, and they probably think that I wish I was still there. But now I make 20 to 30 times in one match what WWE was paying me at the lowest.

RVD’s current schedule is no longer what it used to be, as he takes his time and selectively picks what matches he wants to compete in.

We will have to see if he will ever appear in AEW.
