Deadpool 3 is ready to go and we will see a lot of Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. The duo will be together in the upcoming film and fans are pumped to see this take place.
Getting Deadpool and Wolverine together has been something that has been worked on for some time and fantasized about for a long time, and thankfully, it’s finally here.
As reported by Yahoo – Deadpool 3 is something special, and certainly Hugh Jackman will add to that factor. It was rumored that Hugh was done with the Wolverine title, but it looks like he just wants to keep it going. These two have worked together before, on X-Men Origins: Wolverine. While I enjoyed it, it’s a black mark on the history of the franchise, and Reynolds blames it entirely on Jackman.
Speaking at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival (via Variety), Reynolds talked about several of his upcoming projects, including the highly anticipated Deadpool 3. While we don’t really know what to expect from the film, other than who is playing the villain, Reynolds took the opportunity to lay their last collaboration entirely at Wolverine’s feet.
Ryan said: “Everyone’s expecting me to eviscerate Hugh Jackman but I will say he was one of the first movie stars I ever worked with, back in 2007, on an absolute trash fire called ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’ — that one was on him.”
Looking back, you can see that it wasn’t the fault of anyone, really. What made people gasp was the final scene which was of Ryan as Deadpool. His face looking like a microwaved potato. They would scrap this look entirely when it came to the Deadpool films.
