Ryback reveals he didn’t want to align with Paul Heyman

Ryback, the former WWE star recently opened up on the time when he was a Paul Heyman guy. During The Angle Podcast, he revealed that did not want to be allied with Paul Heyman.

 


 

Ryback was not in favour of the alliance with Paul Heyman

Paul Heyman possesses excellent mic skills and one of the finest talkers in WWE.The former WWE Intercontinental Champion said that Heyman was a mouthpiece for him, which he did not want.

He stated that he could cut promos on his own and the alliance were never planned for long-term.

“I think Paul’s great, as far as maybe promos. I didn’t want to do it at the time, I didn’t care.I’m not friends with Paul. I’m very honest and I like good people. I didn’t want a mouthpiece, I could talk. I didn’t want to be a part of it. I filled a spot for CM Punk but it was never long term. It was to keep Paul on TV and his thing with Curtis Axel ran out shorter than he was expecting. There was never an explanation. It was never we’re putting you with Paul and this is the goal. They don’t know any of that there.”

Ryback now shares a bitter relationship with WWE since his departure from the conpany in 2016.
