Sami Zayn pulled out of WWE tapings due to coronavirus concerns

Roman Reigns has not been appearing on WWE programming due to coronavirus concerns and latest report has now revealed another name who has made a similar decision.

WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn was originally expected to be part of this week’s SmackDown but he pulled out of the show due to coronavirus concerns, according to Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

There is no word yet on what the company was planning for the current champion on the show but the plans were changed after he informed the officials about his decision.

Sami Zayn last appeared on WWE programming when he defended his title against Daniel Bryan in a one on one match at WrestleMania 36.

There is no word yet on when he might return to WWE TV but it’s likely that he will stay away until the pandemic is contained in some way and things return to normal.
