Sami Zayn says his bout at WWE Clash of Champions was his favourite one
Sami Zayn, who was out of action from WWE, has returned recently with his Intercontinental Championship title.
The title that he never lost, was stripped off him due to his absence from WWE after he denied to wrestle amid COVID-19.
Both the Championship titles were up for grabs in a Ladder Match at WWE Clash of Champions pay-per-view to determine the undisputed champion.
During the match, Zayn handcuffed Jeff Hardy to a ladder through his earlobe and with another one handcuffed AJ Styles to himself.
AJ Styles carried Zayn on his back to climb the ladder, while Jeff Hardy still handcuffed to the ladder entered the ring. The match finish saw Zayn uncuffing himself and handcuffing AJ Styles to the ladder.
After a brutal fight, Sami Zayn retrieved both the titles hung above the ring to win the Intercontinental Championship title.
Sami Zayn took to Twitter and he named the match at Clash of Champions to be his favourite match in recent years.
“Maybe I’m still riding high due to not having wrestled much in a while, but I think the 3-way ladder match against Jeff Hardy and AJ Styles from #ClashOfChampions2020 this past Sunday might be my favorite televised match I’ve had in about 3-4 years.”
