Samoa Joe on getting cleared, talks Daniel Bryan

During WrestleMania Axxess, Samoa Joe was interviewed by Between The Ropes. The Samoan Submission Machine talked about the injury that has kept him off of TV for the past few months.

It was a torn ruptured plantar. Kind of a common injury at times for athletes. It’s just kind of one of those things that just happened and we’ve gotten healed up and we’re good to go.

Joe said that he has been cleared for a few weeks at this point, and has been discussing possible opportunities for his return since then.

So we’ve kind of been at that stage for a couple of weeks. Now it’s just a matter of us coming to terms with some other issues. We’re negotiating a few things back and forth, so we’ll see how it all comes out.

Joe then went on to talk about the recently cleared Daniel Bryan, claiming that he’s on his radar.

It’s going to be a huge moment for the WWE Universe and an absolutely massive moment for him. He’s fought hard to come back and he’s definitely done his due diligence and probably gone above and beyond to prove his case. I’m looking forward to seeing him get back in the ring.

He’s on the radar. I know that anytime me and Daniel have gotten in the ring it’s usually something brutal and spectacular. I wouldn’t mind doing it again, I just hope he physically can still hold up.
