Samuel L. Jackson Announces Death Of Co-Star

Samuel L Jackson is one of the best to grace the big screen. His performances have been exceptional and he has delivered on all parameters of the performance aspect. The legendary actor has been a part of some iconic movies, and one such movie is Shaft. The movie had originally seen Richard Roundtree in the lead role.

 


 

Samuel took over the role in the franchise in 2000 and portrayed the character of John Shaft (Roundtree)’s nephew. The duo was together in the 2000 and 2019 movie. They put on an exceptional performance together which was lauded by fans. Samuel knows what it means to portray an exceptional role, and he continues to remember it beyond the cinematic world.

It’s one of the reasons why Samuel remembered Richard Roundtree, who passed away on Tuesday at the age of 81. Samuel remembered Roundtree via an Instagram post and had some really nice things to say about the departed soul.

According to Deadline, Samuel remembered how Issac would have made the song. He even remembered Roundtree and his portrayal of the Shaft character. The performance was phenomenal and it would be interesting to see if there’s another sequel of this where they remember Roundtree.
