Sasha Banks recently met with WOW regarding a possible deal, Billi Bhatti reports on Keepin’ it 100 with Konnan. The former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks was released as per the WrestlingInc and Raj Giri. New reports have emerged that noted her presence on the WWE’s internal roster. WrestleVotes stated that Sasha Banks has indeed been released from her WWE contract. However, PWInsider noted that she is seemingly with WWE.
Sasha Banks and Naomi had walked out of Monday Night RAW due to creative differences. There have been various sides to the story already reported, including that the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions confronted WWE Chairman Vince McMahon over their issue. WWE left that part out of their official narrative, but Banks and Naomi did have words with the boss. In the official statement from the company, it was noted that Sasha Banks and Naomi dropped their tag titles on the desk of John Laurinaitis and left the building.
WWE doesn’t care anymore about Sasha Banks walkout
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the backstage opinion of the whole Banks situation has changed. This is because WWE talent no longer care about the whole ordeal.
There have been reports of Banks being released over the past week plus. WWE has not confirmed the release and she is still listed on the website. Talent doesn’t know and those I’ve asked said it’s long past something anyone talks or cares about because every day there is something new
The Boss’ has recently undergone a Photorefractive Keratectomy (PRK) eye surgery, earlier this week. Newsom Eye, the ophthalmologist center that was in charge of the performed surgery, shared videos and photos of Banks before and after the operational procedure.
We will now have to wait and see what the future holds for Sasha Banks.
