The former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks recently underwent eye surgery.
Sasha Banks undergoes eye surgery
‘The Boss’ has recently undergone a Photorefractive Keratectomy (PRK) eye surgery, earlier this week. Newsom Eye, the ophthalmologist center that was in charge of the performed surgery, shared videos and photos of Banks before and after the operational procedure.
It’s interesting to note that Sasha Banks was spotted sporting a different hairdo than her last appearance on WWE TV. She used to be sporting a blue hair color while now she’s sporting black-and-cream hair color. There’s no update on the requirement of this surgery.
Sasha Banks and Naomi had walked out of Monday Night RAW due to creative differences. There have been various sides to the story already reported, including that the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions confronted WWE Chairman Vince McMahon over their issue. WWE left that part out of their official narrative, but Banks and Naomi did have words with the boss. In the official statement from the company, it was noted that Sasha Banks and Naomi dropped their tag titles on the desk of John Laurinaitis and left the building. It has been speculated that Banks and Naomi reportedly won’t be fired.
It has been recently noted on the latest edition of Friday Night SmackDown that Sasha Banks and Naomi have also been indefinitely suspended from WWE and had their WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles stripped. Even their merchandise was pulled from the online shop. Pat McAfee recently spoke about the matter as well. We will now have to see if Banks decides to make her return to the ring?
