Sasha Banks is having as great a year as one can have. She has been the Women’s Tag Team Champion, RAW Women’s Champion, and is the current SmackDown Women’s Champion. She has also starred in The Mandalorian, Disney’s Star Wars spinoff show, in the role of Koska Reeves.
Speaking with WWE India, The Boss talked about several things, including whom she would like to team up if she has to recapture the Women’s Tag Team belt.
Sasha Banks chooses a ‘shocking’ tag team partner
Sasha Banks made an interesting choice when asked about a possible future tag team partner. She went with Alexa Bliss, the Superstar she had a vicious rivalry with a few years ago over the RAW Women’s Championship. The two wrestled together in India as well.
“You know what, I’m going to have to shock the world and choose the girl that I wrestled in India, Alexa Bliss.”
Sasha Banks also outlined her future goals in WWE. She has won every possible title a woman can win in WWE except the NXT UK Women’s Championship. The Boss has eyes on that as well as all the men’s titles in WWE to cement her legacy in the company.
“I’ve done so so much, I can’t even believe it but I feel like I need to win the NXT UK Women’s Championship, the WWE Championship, the Intercontinental title, the United States title. There’s just so much more to do and I’ve got a lot of time to do it. So I cannot wait!”
Sasha Banks is currently having a feud with Carmella on the Blue Brand. She defended and retained her title on last week’s episode of SmackDown, which ended in a disqualification, followed by Carmella attacking Banks and smashing champagne bottles on her back.
