Sasha Banks opens up about her WWE hiatus

Sasha Banks infamously walked out of WWE after losing the Women’s Tag Team titles to the IIconics during WrestleMania and there were all kinds of rumors about her hiatus from the company.

Banks was recently a guest on The WFNZ Show, The Mac Attack where she talked about a number of things and also opened up about her time away from the company.

The former Women’s Champion revealed that she had been wrestling for seven straight years without a break and implied that she needed to step back and re-evaluate her life:

“I’ve been doing this for seven years straight, no breaks, people need to step back, re-evaluate their lives, take care of their souls, and their minds. I’m back and better than ever. I got myself a championship match on Sunday, so I think I did quite well for myself.”

Sasha also went on to talk about her start in wrestling. She recalled seeing Eddie Guerrero wrestling while she was ten years old and it made her realize that this was what she wanted to do. She then joined a wrestling school at the age of 18 and got signed by WWE 2 years later.
