Sasha Banks recently sat down for an interview with WWE Germany on Instagram Live.
She talked about the year she has had, her role in The Mandalorian, and also played a game where she chose between Option A or B.
Sasha Banks answers: Evolution 2.0 or Queen of the Ring?
Sasha Banks was asked which pay-per-view she would like to see for the female Superstars in WWE – Evolution 2.0 or Queen of the Ring tournament.
The Boss commended the question, saying it was a good one. After some thought, she chose Evolution to happen first as she has been waiting for it for a long time. But she added that matches leading up to Queen of the Ring can be started at Evolution.
“I feel like a Queen of the Ring tournament on a whole pay-per-view for itself would be really freaking cool, but I’ve been waiting for Evolution 2 for a very long time. So maybe we could do that first, and maybe we could start of a little bit of matches… at Evolution… for the Queen of the Ring tournament. Maybe something like that could happen?”
Sasha Banks added that to make either of it a reality, fans should tweet about it to Vince McMahon.
The SmackDown Women’s Champion also talked about how she got cast in the role of Koska Reeves on Star Wars spinoff show The Mandalorian. She revealed that director Jon Favreau noticed her on the YouTube series Hot Ones. He loved her personality so much that he wanted to write a role solely for her on the show.
Sasha Banks defended her title on SmackDown this Friday against Carmella, which ended in a disqualification. Carmella went on to smash champagne bottles on Banks as the show went off air.
