Several former WWE stars have decided to sign with AEW and during a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet on INSIGHT, the former WWE star Ember Moon(now Athena) spoke about potentially joining AEW.

Ember Moon could joing AEW

She was speaking about watching the pro-wrestling legend Dustin Rhodes in AEW and went on to say:

“I saw him and my friend Leva (Bates) is like, ‘I’m having a great time over here.’ To see genuinely how happy everyone was.”

Speaking about a possible move to AEW, she was asked if she is planning to join the promotion to which she said:

“That’s up to them, technically. I’ve been very open and being like, ‘Whoever offers, let’s do it.’ I just want to wrestle and have fun.”

Recently, Moon a.k.a Athena made some bold claims about Mandy Rose. The former WWE star claimed that WWE officials held meetings in NXT 2.0 where they asked stars to dress like Rose.recalled how she and other WWE stars had to sit through the aforementioned meetings. The former NXT Women’s Champion concluded by giving props to Rose, labeling her as ‘phenomenal.’ At the same time, the former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion noted how not everyone could replicate Rose’s fashion and style:

“To be told that I’ve done nothing wrong and I was taken off TV for doing nothing wrong, it hurt so bad because I was so happy walking into work. I remember when Shotzi left, I remember going to my makeup artist and saying, ‘I am so unhappy.’ We’d have to sit through stupid meetings about how we’d have to dress sexy. I’m not about to wear fishnet booty buttcheek shorts because we had a two-hour meeting about how to dress like Mandy Rose. That’s not fair. Mandy is absolutely phenomenal and an amazing person, but not everyone is Mandy Rose.”

Mandy Rose also took note of the remarks and reacted to it. We will have to wait and see if Ember Moon heads her way to AEW soon.
