Sasha Banks reportedly signed a contract extension before her return

Sasha Banks made a surprise return to WWE programming not too long ago after staying away from the company for almost 4 months following her WrestleMania loss.

Fightful has some update on Banks’ return and the site reveals that the former World Champion signed an extension to her current contract before being brought back onto the WWE programming.

Though the site does not reveal any further detail on the matter so the length of this extension is not known. It’s worth mentioning here that Sasha’s previous contract had expired in 2018 and she had signed a new deal with the company at the time as well.

Sasha Banks left WWE after she lost the Women’s Tag Team Championship to The IIconics earlier this year. She found out about the loss very late and felt blindsided by the decision.

The former Champion made her return to WWE programming during the August 12th episode of Raw. She confronted Becky Lynch during the show and started a rivalry with the current Raw Women’s Champion.
