This week’s edition of RAW began on a shattering note after the Universal Champion Roman Reigns relinquished the title owing to the return of leukemia. Reigns delivered a heartfelt promo where he revealed his condition and promised to be back.
Sasha Banks was recently a guest on “Conversations with Maria Menounos”, where she claimed that no one in the locker room knew about this and proceeded to praise the wrestler. Banks stated:
“I didn’t know,“I don’t want to cry because he’s very special. I’m still shaken by that news.”
“He is the strongest, most amazing man I’ve ever met. He taught me so much since I’ve been on Raw.” She added, “To know that he’s been battling with this and didn’t tell a soul…he’s a leader. Everyone looks up to him. There’s no bad word that anyone can say about him because he is the hardest working person that I ever met.”
