Sasha Banks is the first cousin of the famous American rapper Snoop Dogg. Banks is related to Snoop Dogg through her father.
It has been noted that both Sasha Banks and Snoop Dogg didn’t know each other while they grew up. However, one time Banks wanted to attend a Divas Battle Royale at WrestleMania and Snoop Dogg helped her. He even encouraged Banks to follow her dreams and pursue a career in wrestling.
Banks is currently signed to New Japan Pro-Wrestling where she wrestles under the ring name Mercedes Moné. Banks had a stint with WWE from 2012 to 2022. During her time in WWE, Banks held the WWE Raw Women’s Championship five times. In 2020, she became the winner of the SmackDown Women’s Championship. However, Banks walked out of WWE in 2022 after facing a creative differences.
Sasha Banks is currently signed to NJPW. She made her debut in NJPW on January 4, 2023, and wrestlers under the ring name Mercedes Moné. Banks recently faced IWGP Women’s Champion Kairi in the Battle in the Valley on February 18, 2023. At the scheduled match, Sasha Banks defeated Kairi and won the Championship title.
