Banks and Naomi had allegedly walked out of Monday Night RAW few months back due to creative differences. Reports also emerged that she could sign with NJPW.

Sasha Banks was reportedly rejected by STARDOM

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, STARDOM had initially rejected Sasha Banks’ deal. This was due to a disagreement over pay between Banks’ side and Rossy Ogawa.

The largest deal we know of was New Japan in the early 90s made a $150,000 per match deal with Hulk Hogan. We haven’t been able to confirm what she will be earning or if it’s more than Jericho, but those close to the situation did confirm it was a huge per-event deal, a number Rossy Ogawa of Stardom, when first approached with it, turned it down thinking it wasn’t cost-effective.

NJPW also wants to bring in Sasha Banks to build up the public perception of STARDOM.
PWInsider dropped a bombshell story on Banks’ future in wrestling, reporting that The Boss would be appearing at NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom 17 on January 4. When asked for comment regarding whether or not she would be appearing at the NJPW January 4th show, Wrestle Kingdom 17 there was a conspicuous silence. According to the report, typically if rumors are false they are quickly rebuffed by their NJPW however with this particular question, they would not confirm nor deny. Whatever be the case, she is seemingly done with WWE. It has now come to light that ‘The Boss’ might earn more than what Jericho earned in NJPW.
