WWE star Sasha Banks has been away from WWE for a few months now. She recently took to Twitter to share a cryptic message with her fans during WWE Extreme Rules featuring Bray Wyatt’s return. Banks shared the tweet right after Ronda Rousey defeated Liv Morgan to win the SmackDown Women’s title. Ronda Rousey has dropped some hints on the return of Banks. Now, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair has opened up on Banks possibly heading back to WWE, and he expects her to reject AEW.
Ric Flair talks about Sasha Banks
During the recent episode of To Be The Man podcast, Ric Flair revealed that he spoke to Sasha Banks nearly three weeks ago when several talents face-timed him from Mojo Rawley’s wedding. While Flair didn’t foresee Banks performing anywhere outside WWE, he also wouldn’t be surprised if she decided to walk away from the business.
“I don’t think Sasha would go anywhere but WWE if she goes back at all. I spoke to her about three weeks ago. She was at Mojo Rawley’s wedding, they face-timed me, and I said hi to her. I think she has done well with her money and made a lot of money.”
On the same episode of To Be The Man podcast, The Nature Boy said that he felt Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte Flair was similar to his legendary rivalry from back in the day.
“To me, she is in the top three of all time. Yeah, she is really, really good. She is Steamboat, and Ashley is me. I mean, it can’t get any better than that. Anytime they touch each other, they don’t have a regular match. It just gets better every time,” Flair said.
Banks and Naomi had walked out of Monday Night RAW due to creative differences. There have been various sides to the story already reported, including that the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions confronted WWE Chairman Vince McMahon over their issue. There have been many speculations over the past few weeks. NXT star Amari Miller who joined the company last year, has found herself amid controversy after her comment on Sasha Banks. Naomi and Banks were also seen acting as models for New York Fashion Week.
‘The Boss’ also recently made an appearance at the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo. Banks also gained more popularity in her acting endeavor as Koska Reeves on Disney Plus hit ‘The Mandalorian’ set in the Star Wars universe. Banks also recently revealed her charges for a personalized Cameo video.
