Saudi Arabia still not allowing women to wrestle at WWE Super Showdown

WWE didn’t have permission to let women wrestle at Super ShowDown, but Natalya and Alexa Bliss were brought to Saudi Arabia in hopes that they would get permission to have a match. However, that doesn’t seem likely.

Saudi Arabia isn’t allowing females to wrestle at WWE events which is certainly odd since they have allowed women to perform in other events, not related to wrestling.

Bryan Alvarez revealed on Wrestling Observer Live that while Saudi Arabia is currently preparing for WWE Super Showdown, they have no plans for the women and they most likely won’t budge from this decision.

They apparently had a creative meeting regarding Friday’s show and the women’s match was not mentioned even once during the meeting.

We will keep you updated regarding the women’s match status when we learn more.
