Scott Dawson of The Revival reportedly not paid by WWE for weeks

On the latest episode of The Wrestling Observer, it was noted that Scott Dawson of The Revival has apparently not been paid by WWE for about 6-7 weeks, despite being currently under contract with the company.

According to an initial report, Dawson’s contract was set to expire in the first week of April, whereas, Wilder’s was originally set to expire at the same time but WWE decided to add some extra time to his contract in order for Wilder to make up for the time he missed due to injuries.

The Revival was last seen on WWE TV back on 7th February when on SmackDown on FOX when they helped King Corbin take down Braun Strowman, however, WWE never really went ahead with the angle and as it turned out, those plans were eventually scrapped by the creative team.

As per Dave Meltzer of The Observer, Wilder’s contract set to expire in mid-June, however, Dawson, for one, will also not be able to sign for any other promotion once his WWE contract expires and will have to wait for a few months before he can finally start making money with a different company.

With rumors strongly suggesting that The Revival will be signing with AEW, it remains to be seen what the future has in store for the former RAW, SmackDown, and NXT Tag Team Champions.
