The professional wrestling and sports entertainment world is reeling from the unexpecting death of industry all-time great – Scott Hall. Hall passed away at the age of 63. Hall underwent hip surgery, a blood clot was dislodged, resulting in Hall suffering three heart attacks on March 12, after which he was put on life support in Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia. Hall was taken off of life support on March 14th where WWE had later confirmed his death before Monday’s edition of WWE Monday Night Raw.

Speaking of tonight’s Raw, naturally, tonight’s edition of WWE Raw was dedicated to ‘the Bad Guy’ as several of Scott Hall’s signature mannerisms and moves were used. former WWE United States Champion Damien Priest would use the Razor’s Edge while former WWE Universal Champion, Kevin Owens would use say ‘Hey Yo’.
Former WCW Executive Eric Bischoff during an edition of his highly acclaimed 83 Weeks podcast would discuss with host Conrad Thompson about the backstage reaction to Scott Hall joining WCW in the mid-1990s. Credit to 411 Mania for the following.
“I high-fived him. Scott did care. There were definitely two Scott Halls. There was a Scott Hall that was tough to manage and influenced by a lot of things, and then there’s the real guy. The real Scott Hall is a sweetheart. Following that promo, and probably because he and I spent time talking on the way down, he knew what he was about to do. He didn’t know how important it was gonna be. He came right back, I high-fived him, and my mood was off the charts that particular evening following that.”
