Second NXT “Super Tuesday” planned due to another USA preemption

It looks like the WWE black-and-gold brand will spend two weeks in the “Super Tuesday” time slot on the USA Network.

The new updated USA Network television schedule has WWE NXT remaining on Tuesday night for an additional week after the advertised “Super Tuesday” show coming up next week.

Once again, the reason for WWE NXT being bumped from their usual weekly time slot on Wednesday night on the network is the ongoing NHL Playoffs.

If the schedule remains as it currently stands on the official website for the television network at USANetwork.com, the WWE NXT show for the second week of September will again see the show airing in the Tuesday time slot on September 8th at 8pm Eastern Time, with the NHL conference finals taking their usual time slot on Wednesday.

As noted, this coming Tuesday will mark the first WWE NXT preemption due to the NHL Playoffs with a “Super Tuesday” show headlined by a first-time-ever four-way 60-minute Iron Man match for the vacant NXT Championship, with former title-holders Adam Cole vs. Finn Balor vs. Tommaso Ciampa vs. Johnny Gargano battling it out to decide the new NXT Champion due to Karrion Kross relinquishing the title after beating Keith Lee and suffering an injury at NXT TakeOver: XXX.

Additionally, the WWE NXT “Super Tuesday” show will feature a six-man tag-team bout featuring Legado del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde) squaring off against the trio of Isaiah “Swerve” Scott & NXT Tag-Team Champions Breezango (Tyler Breeze and Fandango).
