Another legendary WWE name has also shared a story of disrespect. WWE Hall Of Famer Shawn Michaels is undoubtedly one of the most talented pro wrestlers to have ever stepped foot inside a pro wrestling ring. The Heartbreak Kid ended his in-ring career back in 2010 after losing to The Undertaker at WrestleMania 26. Barring his tag team match at WWE Crown Jewel 2018, Michaels has never competed in a match.
Former WWE Women’s Champion Candice Michelle recently spoke to Voc Nation, where Michelle discussed how she used to be a model but then became a pro wrestler. Michelle then added how she had to learn a lot of pro wrestling moves and on top of that, a lot of etiquettes too in the WWE locker room.
It seems the former WWE Women’s Champion had accidentally disrespected Shawn Michaels backstage in the company.
“There’s so much learning,” Michelle said. “When you go to a wrestling school, you learn that you should walk in and shake everyone’s hand. For me, coming from Hollywood, interrupting a Shawn Michaels eating his meal, that doesn’t seem respectful to me, it was always those hard moments of learning everything, every aspect of this business. When you’re new, and you’re not told those things, you can feel like a real (bad person) sometimes.”
