Seth Rollins is hopeful that he didn’t offend AEW star Buddy Matthews too much with his segment with the WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley.
Buddy Matthews, fka Buddy Murphy in WWE, has been in a real-life relationship with Ripley for several months. The two have often shown each other a lot of love and support on social media, despite working in different companies.
As seen on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, Seth Rollins was involved in a hilarious moment with Ripley during the match, as they recreated the same spot that Shawn Michaels and Melina did during the 2006 Survivor Series event.
Seth Rollins created a viral moment when he put his arm around Rhea Ripley on Raw, and he commented on the moment.
Rollins sneaked up on Ripley during his tag match alongside AJ Styles against The Judgment Day and put his arm around her shoulders, which has gone viral particularly for how it was similar to moments that Shawn Michaels had with Sunny in 1996 and Melina in 2006.
Seth Rollins opens up on the matter
While speaking on WWE’s The Bump, Seth Rollins sent a message to Rhea Ripley, hoping she wasn’t offended by it. He also addressed both Dominik Mysterio and Matthews for the same reason.
