Benjamin Carter was one of the hottest free agents in recent memory, as several companies from North America reached out to him in order to sign him wit ha contract. Most notably, WWE and AEW were very interested in him. Carter created a lot of buzz with his performance in episodes of AEW Dark. Seth just reacted to Roman Reigns’ heel turn.
After a lot of speculation as to where he would end up, Carter ultimately signed to WWE and is currently a part of the WWE NXT UK brand. Carter was trained by none other than WWE Superstars Seth Rollins.
Seth Rollins was recently a guest on WWE The Bump, where he talked about Ben Carter. Carter learned how to become a pro wrestler at the Black & Brave Wrestling Academy. Rollins revealed that he had a conversation with Carter when WWE was trying to sign him to a contract, which reminded Rollins of his own contract talks over ten years ago.
“Talking to Ben Carter when he was negotiating with WWE was so funny to me, because it reminded me of when I was doing it a decade ago. Just to see a kid fulfill a dream and for you to know you’ve played a part in that is really a cool thing.”
