Roman Reigns’ leukemia announcement on October 22nd of RAW was one of the saddest moments in the show’s history. He had to relinquish his Universal Title so that he could go home and fight the disease.
Seth Rollins who was there for Roman for the good and bad times spoke to La Ley 107.9, where he talked about staying in touch with Roman Reigns.
“I stay in touch with Roman. I talk to him once a week just to see how he’s doing. Mostly it’s about that. At the end of the day he doesn’t want to worry about work, he doesn’t want to deal with that headache right now, so it’s about seeing how he’s doing and his recovery right now.”
“It’s nice to hear from him, and once in a while he’ll have a question about how things are going [with RAW], but it’s mostly just two friends catching up together.”
It is great that Rollins and Reigns are still talking. We hope Roman recovers soon enough so that he can make his triumphant return to the ring, where he belongs. Till then, he has the support of all of family, friends and fans.
