Top star written off TV at Survivor Series

We noted before how Seth Rollins was expected to take time off after the Survivor Series PPV to stay with his fiancé Becky Lynch when she gives birth to their first child.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is now reporting that WWE wrote Rollins off TV at Sunday’s Survivor Series PPV where he ‘sacrificed’ himself during the men’s elimination match and he is not expected to appear on WWE TV in the coming weeks or at the upcoming TLC PPV.

Becky Lynch announced her pregnancy during the May 11 edition of Monday Night Raw and the former Women’s Champion has been absent from WWE TV ever since.

She has previously revealed that her due date is in December. With the TLC PPV being scheduled for December 20, it makes sense for WWE to take Rollins off TV now and not include him in the build for the next big event.

The fact that Seth Rollins lost a match to Buddy Murphy during last week’s SmackDown to effectively end his feud with Murphy and the Mysterio family is also an indication that Rollins will not be seen on the WWE programming in the coming days.

Though as we noted before, the former Universal Champion is not expected to stay out of action for very long and it’s possible that he will be back before the WrestleMania season kicks off.
