For the next two weeks, AEW will be presenting special episodes of Dynamite. New Year’s Smash night one and two are expected to be big episodes and the company has wasted no time in making sure they have stacked cards.
It was already announced earlier that Kenny Omega will be defending his AEW World Championship against Fenix during the first night of New Year’s Smash. Hikaru Shida will defend the AEW Women’s World Title against Abadon.
Jake Hager will square off against Wardlow on the December 30th episode as well. Jox Moxley’s return was also announced for the show.
During the second night of New Year’s Smash, Darby Allin will defend his TNT Title against Brian Cage on January 6th. Cody Rhodes will face Matt Sydal and FTR vs Jurassic Express has been confirmed for the episode as well.
