The former WWE star went missing after getting caught in a riptide and being pulled by the current at the Venice Beach in California on Sunday.
The lifeguards had reached out for the help but Gaspard asked them to help his 10-year-old son first. He was crushed by another large wave before the officials could reach back to him.
The search operation ran till the Sundown on Sunday and through Monday as well but according to latest reports, the officials have now called off the search.
