Shane McMahon made his presence felt at the WWE Royal Rumble Premium Live event. However, as per the reports, it turns out he was involved in a scuffle backstage before the show. Rumors have been floating around and it seems he is currently not on great terms with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon. Not only, did he got involved in a tiff with producers but it also included the former WWE Champion Brock Lesnar. Wade Keller gave a lot of details on what happened between WWE Chairman Vince McMahon and Shane McMahon backstage at the Royal Rumble.
Shane McMahon wanted to put over Brock Lesnar
Shane was seemingly self-centered when it came down to the ideas of the Royal Rumble match. He even pushed the producers to run the things in his favor. Keller revealed that Shane was willing to put over only Brock Lesnar, but things between Shane and Vince got ugly backstage.
Shane was concerned about his plans leading up to Elimination Chamber and how he would look. Things started to get a bit chaotic when the ideas were put in front about RAW. He disagreed with Vince and he wanted things to run according to him:
“So when it came time to put someone over, Shane was willing to put over Brock Lesnar,” Keller said. “But the issue with Shane got to the next level with Vince when it came to what was planned for Raw and that Shane had real problems with how he was going to be framed as he was going to be in the Elimination Chamber. And so, Shane disagreed with what Vince wanted to do and how he wanted to do it. It was laid out to Shane what the plans were and he did like it, and he pushed back and that led to Vince just finally having enough and canceling all plans with Shane, everything that they have planned with him.”
Rumors also stated that following the ugly encounter, Shane O Mac was let go from the company. It was noted that Shane McMahon received an offer from top AEW names and who knows he might end up joining AEW down the road.
