Shane McMahon could soon be making his way back to WWE. With WWE Royal Rumble event taking place this Saturday, the fans are already speculating some stars to make their return for the event. This Saturday will see a few returns, including Bad Bunny as Ringside News previously reported.
Shane McMahon could return
The site has now reported that “Shane McMahon is set for the Royal Rumble match.” Brad Shepard had previously reported and it has been “independently verified with a tenured member of the creative team.'” The company usually has some surprises in store for the event and it turns out the former WWE RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey and Kairi Sane could also be involved. Speaking about Shane, his WrestleMania plans has not been reported yet. He was last spotted in a match when he lost the Steel Cage Match to Braun Strowman at WrestleMania 37. Before that, he had been away since losing the Career vs. Career Ladder Match to Kevin Owens on the October 4 SmackDown episode, which was the FOX premiere.
There are currently 22 announced spots for the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match. The announced line-up looks like this: Johnny Knoxville, Austin Theory, Rey Mysterio, Dominik Mysterio, Montez Ford, Angelo Dawkins, Sheamus, WWE United States Champion Damian Priest, AJ Styles, Big E, Kofi Kingston, Sami Zayn, Madcap Moss, Happy Baron Corbin, Kevin Owens, Omos, Dolph Ziggler, Robert Roode, Randy Orton, Riddle, RAW Tag Team Champion Otis, RAW Tag Team Champion Chad Gable.
The WWE Royal Rumble will take place this Saturday, January 29 from The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, Missouri. Kurt Angle will also be in town for the Rumble, and FightfulSelect.com report he likely will be returning on screen.
