Shane McMahon recently suffered a torn quad injury at WrestleMania 39. However, just a few weeks later he is back in the gym.
During WrestleMania 39: Night Two, McMahon made his first appearance for WWE in over a year after being let go following the chaos backstage at the 2022 Royal Rumble PLE.
Shane was the surprise opponent for The Miz in a match by the A Lister’s WrestleMania co-host Snoop Dogg. During the match, Shane attempted a leapfrog spot but crumbled to the mat in pain. Snoop Dogg filled in for the injured McMahon and was able to finish the match by hitting a People’s Elbow on The Miz.
During the post-show press conference, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H confirmed that McMahon had suffered a torn quad. Despite the injury, Shane is already working hard to get back to 100% and shared some of his training with his followers on Instagram.
He recently took to his Instagram account and posted multiple video clips of workouts. His caption read:
“Racing Von Miller on the road to recovery down @sandersfit_”
Meanwhile, during Mailbag Monday on AdFreeShows, Mike Chioda was asked about Shane McMahon. The veteran referee believes that Shane-O’s in-ring career won’t end on that sour note.
