Johnny went on to reveal that Shane McMahon was the only one who would push him. He also revealed how they became close friends during their time WWE. He talked about internal politics in the company which affect the outcome of his matches but it was Shane who stood by him and wanted him to succeed in WWE.

He had allied with Nunzio and Chuck Palumbo and together the trio became The Full Blooded Italians(FBI).  The FBI would go on to wrestle throughout 2003 and early 2004 before disbanding on March 22, 2004 when Palumbo was moved to the RAW brand. Stamboli and Nunzio continued to team together until he was released from his WWE contract on November 4.

He said:

“Shane and I became good friends when I went to WWE.  Every time he was at the show, I would win.  When he wasn’t there, I would lose.  There was politics.  There were certain people in the booking committee who didn’t like me and I didn’t like them, but when Shane McMahon was there, he trumped all of them because he’s Shane McMahon.  That’s why when they put us together as the FBI, we were getting pushed big time wrestling Brock, Undertaker, Kurt Angle, and all the top guys. When Shane left, they broke us up.”

Johnny the Bull is currently working as a mortgage broker. He said that he oversees the residential loans for purchases and refinances and is also a vice president of his division at Federal Savings Bank.
