Shane McMahon reportedly wrote and produced the WWE Royal Rumble men’s match, and booked himself to be one of the last stars in the match at the expense of other talent, enraging the locker room. McMahon arrived at the show with WWE President Nick Khan, showing his strong influence on the company.
Shane McMahon was producer and lead writer for the Men's Royal Rumble match and there is A TON of heat on him today for it.

Ronda Rousey made a shocking return at the recently-concluded Royal Rumble during the 30-Woman Royal Rumble match and eventually won it. She is set to get a title match of her choosing at WrestleMania 38. Following her win, she took to her Instagram account and posted a series of pictures from the match. She was blessed with a baby four months back but she revealed that she had been planning to return at the event since the day she found out she was pregnant.

“I just had a baby 4 months ago…. Since the day I found out I was pregnant and calculated my due date, I knew I wanted to return to the @wwe at the #royalrumble2022
Two weeks, even two months postpartum that goal seemed crazier than ever before.
But I just missed it so much… and I so badly wanted to give Pō the same example that my mom gave to me and my sisters – she never broke stride following her dreams while having us.
Now it’s my turn.”

Becky Lynch is ready to give Ronda Rousey a title shot
WWE RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch said she was happy to give Doudrop the biggest match of her career and beat her. Speaking of Ronda Rousey, Lynch said she’s already defeated her and there’s nothing left for her to prove:
“I’ve already beaten her. Sure, of course, that’s the match people want. That’s the match that people have wanted for, well, nearly four years now, and I think that’d get them excited and that’ll get me excited. But now it’s in her court. It’s up to her if she wants it. If she wants it, I’m ready to go; if she doesn’t, well she can warm up with the Gazpacho.”
Speaking about Rousey, it was previously noted that WWE had some plans for her. she came in at No.28 spot in the Royal Rumble match, one of the spots which have seen several winners. The final two women in the ring were Rousey and WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair. Flair led with a big kick, but Rousey caught her and shoved her up over the ropes and to the floor. This helped her in winning the Royal Rumble and earning a match at WrestleMania. Rousey is set to make an appearance on this week’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW.
