Shaq’s Dad Violently Tried To Kill Man In Car

NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal recently opened up about his father Phillip A. Harrison on multiple occasions. The four-time NBA champion has revealed some interesting stories about his father who was a military drill sergeant. The Los Angeles Lakers legend has extensively talked about his father physically punishing him for his actions. Recently, Shaq opened up about another dark encounter with his father, which involved the police as well.

 


 

Shaquille O’ Neal opens up on the incident

It has been noted that O’Neal’s father tried to kill a man one day for him. In the latest episode of the Big Podcast with Shaq, co-hosts Nischelle Turner and Spice Adams joined Shaquille O’Neal for another exciting session. During the podcast, the trio discussed a lot of interesting things happening in the sports world and in the country. In one instance, the crew talked about Shannon Sharpe’s spat with the Memphis Grizzlies and Ja Morant’s father Tee Morant. During the discussion, Nischelle asked whether Shaq’s father, Phillip A. Harrison, would get involved if someone was jawing at him during a game.

Without any hesitation, O’Neal immediately replied that his father would get involved. He then shared an interesting story. Shaq recounted that he received a phone call from a police captain once who asked him to come to the station. He revealed:

“So I get there, this dude had Calvin and Hobbes pissing symbol on a Shaq on his car. My father pulls the dude over and busts his window up. My dad was trying to kill the man.”

The 2000 MVP added that the man luckily did not press charges. Shaq then asked his father about his actions:

“I’m like, ‘What are you doing?’ ‘Man, nobody disrespect my family like that.’”

The three-time Finals MVP then added that his father was running his fan club during his time with the Orlando Magic.
