Shawn Michaels ‘Kissed’ Top WWE Wrestler

WWE producer Bruce Prichard recently lambasted the moment when Triple H and WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels broke their character to bid farewell to Scott Hall and Kevin Nash.

 


 

He said that he disliked the “disrespectful” character-breaking moment, which has become known as the “Curtain Call.”

What had happened?

He said:

“I was standing in the aisle watching the end of the match when the Curtain Call took place, and I watched it all the way through to Shawn getting down and kissing Diesel [Kevin Nash], and Diesel miraculously coming to, and left shortly thereafter,” Prichard said. “I hated it, I thought it was disrespectful. You have to look at it in the moment in the time in which it took place. So, me being an old-school guy, I absolutely hated it. Was it a moment in time that you saw the winds of change? Yep, sure was, but being in the moment during that time, not a fan.”

WWE legend Kevin Nash recently opened up on WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels and recalled the incident which made him furious.

Why was Shawn Michaels angry?

Kevin Nash who was featured in the latest episode of WWE Network show WWE Untold revealed the story of Michaels and his WWE alliance and rivalry.

It was also revealed how the HBK was very angry when Kevin Nash and Scott Hall when they parted ways with WWE and decided to join WCW back in 1996.

Michaels has been close with both Nash (f.k.a. Diesel) and Hall (f.k.a. Razor Ramon) and has worked in various WWE storylines between 1993 and 1996.

Nash and Hall recently revealed that their main motive was to earn more money than what they earned in WWE. Thus they switched the company in 1996. However, Michaels’ dream was to capture the WWE Championship. Brock Lesnar ‘Refused’ Losing WWE Title Match?

Nash said Michaels was frustrated that he and Hall wanted to leave even after losing to them both multiple times.

He said:

“From Shawn’s standpoint, Shawn is looking at me and Scott going, ‘You motherf*****s,’” You guys let me put you over around the world, have five-star matches, you guys are both cashing in on it and you’re taking two of my five best guys for me not to work with? I could’ve had a nine-month run with each of you two.’ He was p****d and he had every reason to be.”

Nash had a good run WCW, while in 1996 itself,  Michaels defeated Bret Hart at WrestleMania XII and became the WWE Champion.
